A Chest In My Boot

A covert exchange in a harvested Indiana corn field.

Three woodwoorking nerds gather on a Chicago side street.

A back-alley hand off in Roger's Park.

The case for sharp tools is home.

  1. Hello Jameel

I've been looking forward to seeing this since you first mentioned it. So, when will the unveiling be?
I hope all is well my friend!

    2. Megan revealed it on the PW blog today.

Very nice work to all of you involved.

I do have an unrelated question, Megan says you will be working out of that chest, so what's the chest in the previous (with the cool lid stay) going to be? Traveling chest maybe?

  2. Jameel, I want to see a picture of the lid opened! :)

I am sure that you, Peter and Chris have done a great job. I can't wait to see the pics!

    1. A collaboration I won't soon forget. It's been an honor working with two legends.

  3. A hand off in an alley in Rogers park with nerdy woodworkers. A LN event full of nerdy woodworkers in a converted Post Office located in Rogers Park with a wonderful alley for such things. Hmmm. If you wish to keep the identity of your co-conspirators and the location of the chest (if your message is to be believed) you will send vises. Lots of vises. Lots and lots of vises. One of each. (Even the discontinued ones.) Remember, there is much at stake. I will contact you later in the week with details of the exchange.

    1. .. kept secret... identiies kept secret. (You just can't get good evil henchmen administrative assistants these days. You ask them to write a simple note...)
